| The 2008 Sale is now over. Thank you to our consignors for bringing some excellent stock to the auction ring and to our buyers for coming out and bidding despite trying economic times. The sale averaged about $90 less per head this year in comparison to last year with an overall average of $427 on 94 head sold. 108 ponies went through the ring with 14 no sales (12.5%). Two of those no did not sell in the auction ring were sold after the sale. There were 86 registered bidders representing 9 states with many ponies selling locally in Hopkins or surrounding counties. The high seller was lot #47, Scout, a well broke grade Shetland riding gelding consigned by Grace Wuthrich of Pierce, TX and presented in the ring by Grace's daughter, Elsa. Scout is the now the proud owner of a new little girl (that has decided to change his name to Sticky Booger!)
