North Texas Pony Sale

BUYERS will need to provide photo ID with current address and phone number in order to get a bidders number. If you will not be able to attend the sale in person but would still like to bid on an animal please contact me (Nata Porter) directly.

ALL buyers will need a number in order to bid during the sale. Bidder numbers will be issued in the Sale Office the day of the sale.

PAYMENT will be accepted in the form of cash, check, VISA or mastercard. A 5% buyers premium will be charged on purchases. Buyers premium will be WAIVED (not charged) for payments made with cash or check.

HOT CHECKS will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Any equine that have been "paid" for with an insufficient funds check is considered horse theft and carries a stiff penalty.

BUYERS will be provided with a receipt showing what animals they have paid for, registration papers (if animal has registration papers), coggins and health papers on each animal purchased. Sales receipt must be shown at the gate before ponies and miniatures will be released for loading.

NORTH TEXAS PONY SALE, Nata Porter, Hopkins County Civic Center and related associates act as agent only on all sales and are not responsible for buyer/seller error or misunderstanding. Any and all guarantees made regarding an animal are between the buyer and seller and cannot be enforced by North Texas Pony Sale or its agents.

ANNOUNCEMENTS made from the auctioneer stand will take precedence over printed catalog. Broodmares selling as exposed or believed to be in foal have not been vet checked in foal. In most cases live foal guarantees will not be offered on mares. Any foaling agreements will be between the buyer and seller.

SALE STOCK will be available for viewing on Friday afternoon/evening and all day Saturday. It is recommended that buyers examine any animals they are interested in purchasing prior to the sale. Owners will be on hand to answer questions regarding their animals. Once the final bid is accepted on an animal, said animal becomes the full responsibility of the buyer!

 NOTE

The minimum bid accepted on any animal will be $100. No animals will be sold for less than $100.
