North Texas Pony Sale

Consignment Deadline is August 29, 2012. This sale is limited to 100 head of small equine, including registered and grade ponies of all breeds, miniature horses, miniature mules and miniature donkeys at the discretion of sales management.

SELLERS may pay for their sale slots prior to the sale deadline but must have all paperwork for consigned animals mailed or emailed no later than August 29, 2012. No slots will be held without full payment of the consignment fee. Consignment fees are non-refundable .

Sale slot payments for 2012 will be taken beginning February 1, 2012.

Please include with your consignment form a copy of the animals registration papers (if registered) and a photo(s). This information may also be emailed to nkporter@aol.com Photos are used in print ads and in the online sale catalog. Many buyers will use the photos to make a decision about purchasing your animal. Please keep this in mind when taking your photos!

BRING to the sale your animal's ORIGINAL registration papers, signed transfer, breeders certificate for bred or exposed mares or for weanlings selling on application, original coggins paper and health certificate. Please include a health certificate (copy is acceptable) for each animal consigned. Coggins must be current (within 12 months of sale date for in state animals and within 6 months for out of state animals). Health certificate must be dated within 30 days of sale date. Foals that are selling with their dam do not have to have a coggins test but must be listed on the health certificate with their dam.

SELLER is to provide a usable halter and lead rope for each animal sold. All animals will be led through the sale ring by the seller or an agent for the seller. No loose animals will be sold. If you need help getting your animals to and from the sale ring please let me know in advance and I will find someone to help you.

CONSIGNMENT FEE is $50 and is non-refundable, this fee includes a stall and one bag of shavings per animal.

SALES COMMISSION is 8% of the final bid. Alley trades must go through the sale office and are subject to the 8% sale commission.

NO SALE FEE is $10. All no sales MUST be announced in the sale ring before your animal leaves the ring! Paperwork will not be released until the $10 no sale fee is paid. Animals not receiving the opening bid of $100 will not be charge a no sale fee.

SALE CHECKS will be mailed out 10 BANKING DAYS after the sale. Checks will be mailed out approximately October 12, 2012.
